Dean Patterson to lead efforts to strengthen Shoreline Master Program Updates

Document Actions
We are very excited to announce that Dean Patterson has joined Futurewise as our Shoreline Planner. Dean was most recently a Planning Manager for Yakima County, administering the county’s Shoreline Master Plan.

He recently completed Yakima County’s Shoreline Master Program and Critical Areas Ordinance updates.  Dean graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Architecture and a MS in Natural Resource Planning.  Welcome Dean!

This increased capacity was made possible by funding from the Northwest Fund for the Environment, The Burning Foundation and the Russell Family Foundation.  Additionally we want to thank our members, many of whom sent in contributions to help launch this expanded program.

Our work on the Shoreline Master Program updates is a critical next step in protecting our Washington and Puget Sound shorelines and waterways.  To learn more about our Shoreline Program Click Here.
