Snohomish Feast Recap
Snohomish’s fourth annual Feast with Friends was a great success. The event took place on August 26th, at Angel Arm Works Art Studios. Focused on raising awareness of the benefits eating local, the event featured tastings from seven Snohomish restaurants, and five Washington wineries. The chefs’ tasting menus were a celebration of harvest season in the Northwest, showcasing ingredients all grown here in the north Puget Sound region.
Farming is an integral part not only of our state’s economy, but also of our shared heritage. Washington’s farmlands are worth saving, and encouraging people to eat and buy local is one way we can make a difference. Futurewise sends a big thank you to all the sponsors and participants who made this event possible.
