Futurewise spring breakfast features race and equity keynote

On March 2, 2017, Futurewise hosted our annual spring fundraising event – which this year was a breakfast hosted at the Westin hotel in downtown Seattle.  We were please to host 350 guests, and honor a number of partners with a Livable Communities Award (see the previous blog post for details on the awardees).

A number of guests approached us after the event with interest in learning more about our keynote speaker, Dwayne Marsh from the Center for Social Inclusion (CSI).  His talk on race and equity in our sphere of influence – and the greater context – is sparking a lot of discussion amongst attendees.  Those who are interested in learning more can explore the CSI website here, and/or download a copy of his presentation here.
