  • Sunday, December 14th, West Seattle Farmers Market

We need housing, and lots of it. In September, Council came together to find solutions that will both preserve the existing tree canopy and encourage its growth, as well prevent sprawl while expanding the diversity of housing types to fit every person, family, income, and neighborhood. However, this process is not over just yet. This phase of our Comp Plan is set for a final vote by the end of this year, with the potential for another public comment session (!) There’s lots to be proud of, and lots more to advocate for.

Our goal is to get to know community members, talk to constituents about the Comp Plan, help answer questions, and provide next steps should they want to get involved!

You’ll receive information about where to meet prior to your shift, so keep your eye on your inbox. We look forward to seeing you; thank you so much for your support!
