Seattle Comp Plan: Public Hearing & Rally

Let’s Rally!

Date: Monday, April 6th, 2026
Time: 12pm-1pm
Location: 655 4th Ave, Seattle, 98104
[REGISTER]

Phase Two of Seattle’s Comprehensive Plan is in progress, and the Complete Communities Coalition (CCC) is hosting a rally outside City Hall before we tell City Council what we’re fighting for: a more affordable Seattle, with more housing, parks, and public transit for all. This phase of the Comprehensive Plan is focused on upzoning in Neighborhood Centers and Transit Corridors in line with what the Office of Planning and Community Development has produced. However, the CCC believes we can and should improve upon what’s been designed, and go farther to not just promote more housing, but protect trees, our waterways, and so much more

Thanks to our collective efforts, the One Seattle Plan lays out a great vision for allowing more homes in all neighborhoods and making Seattle a more affordable, welcoming, and sustainable city. But we need bold zoning to make this plan a reality. Centers + Corridors is the next step to delivering this strong vision for housing abundance, through updated zoning in new and expanded Neighborhood and Urban Centers and along frequent transit corridors.

Let’s tell our Council how much we want connected communities! Join us outside City Hall at noon for pizza (GF and Vegan options included), get inspired hearing from passionate housing advocates, and learn more about how you can get involved. After this rally, we’ll be lining up to give public comment to Council, urging them to consider the creative solutions we have at our disposal to make Seattle the best it can be to all who live and work here. Come learn more about what we’re advocating for. We hope to see you April 6th!

Date: Monday, April 6th, 2026
Time: 12pm-1pm
Location: 655 4th Ave, Seattle, 98104

P.S. We’re hosting a volunteer training on Tuesday, March 31st, sharing ways you can get engaged in our quest and build up your skills on public testimony. 💪
